APRC Replaces Withdrawn Bakau Candidate

Alhagie Adama Bahoum has been duly nominated yesterday, January 16 2008, as the APRC candidate for the Bakau New Town/Fajara Ward of Bakau Constituency, replacing Mr. Bakary B. Darboe, who withdrew his candidature for the said ward in the Local Government Elections of 24th January 2008 in accordance with Section 51 subsection 1 of Decree 78 of 1996, just before he was expelled from the APRC.
 
According to a press release from the IEC yesterday, this development is in accordance with section 51 (4) of Decree 78 of 1996.
