Mr. Alhagie Mbye, The Point’s Sub-editor and anchor man of The Point’s entertainment and inside Gambia columns, traveled Saturday to Ghana where he will be taking part in a week long workshop.
The workshop, organised by the New Partnership Agreement for African Development (NEPAD), aims to help those attending impart information in a more reader friendly way and will cover such areas as reporting skills. In depth analysis and presentation of NEPAD on government issues will also be on the agenda. The theme of the weeklong workshop “Report Africa in a global context” is expected to broaden the knowledge of participants on wide a range of issues relating to NEPAD.
Speaking to this reporter shortly before leaving the shores of the country, Mr. Mbye has this to say, “I am delighted and honored to have been given the opportunity to deputise my boss at this high profile experience sharing workshop”.
