Dutch Philanthropist Donates to GNPC

A Dutch philanthropist Loek M Struick, recently donated a consignment of sports materials to The Gambia’s National Paralympic Committee.

The donated items include 17 balls, 60 shirts, 2 trophies and 30 headbands. Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the donor said he would continue to contribute to the socio-economic development of The Gambia.
He revealed that in 2004 he donated 500 uniforms to the Police Force of The Gambia and the Gambian scouts Association.

He also expressed his willingness to continue with these immense contributions to the country and urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the donated items.

Receiving the items the Chairman of GNPC, Mr. Sulayman Colley, thanked the donor for his wonderful contribution towards the development of The Gambia.

He assured the donor that the donated items would be put to very good use and called on other donors to emulate the actions of Mr. Loek Struick.
