Wulinkama Youth Discharged

Principal Magistrate Emmanuel Amadi of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court recently discharged one Ismaila Jallow on a charge of assault, causing actual bodily harm.

According to the complainant, Ousman Secka, on 13th February 2009, at Wulinkama, he went on a sheepherding at a football field where he found the accused, Ismaila Jallow playing football.

He adduced that the accused then started insulting his parents and later gave him a blow and also hit him with a stick.

He added that he also took a cutlass and chopped the accused with it on his left hand.

After his testimony, the accused was cautioned and discharged and also ordered to compensate the complainant in the sum of D4, 375.
