Who is your Gambian actor and actress of the year?

“We have talented actors and actresses here, all that we need is to train them.” This was what Nana Ofori Atta said when asked by What’s on if The Gambia is blessed with good actors and actresses.

As part of the Vinasha film festival, Gambians and non Gambians in the country will be offered the opportunity to vote for their best actor and actress of the year.

The nominees for the male category are: Modou Musa Ceesay, Cherno Njie, Felix Ceesay, Alagie Saihou Sarr (Nyohorr), Ousman Jasseh and Modou Lamin Manneh(Foday).

For the female category we have: Mamie Manjang, Awa Gassama, Habibatou Jallow, Amie Mariama Fofana and Ndey Nyang.
