Thursday, February 5, 2009
Vibes Radikall also known as Icy Spicy is another Gambian reggae star working day in day out to move his business to the next level. Born Lamin Sanyang in February 1982, the young star started music at a very early age, according to the Gambuster website.

As an intelligent primary school student, Vibes Radikall was constantly on top of his class and the entire school. He proceeded to St Augustine’s Junior Secondary where he was a classmate for three years with the well established Gambian international reggae artist, Rebellion D’ Recaller. From there, Radikall went to The Gambia High School where he studied arts.

In mid-1993, the young reggae dancehall sensation left The Gambia with his little brother to live with their father in Sweden. He began to take interest in his heritage as an African, and started to write songs. He has performed in different places and venues in Sweden. He has recorded and collaborated with different artists and was later joined by Edi and Majesty, both talented Gambian kids.

Currently, Radikall is working hard to release his debut album. He is also planning a trip to The Gambia sometime this year. Courtesy of Gambuster.com
