WAII Ends Training On Customer, Relationship Management

The West African Insurance Institute, in collaboration with IIC recently wrapped-up a three-day seminar on customer and relationship management at the Kairaba Beach Hotel. The training brought together 19 participants from different institutions, namely Bank PHB, Sky Bank, Gamstar Insurance Company, Capital Express and Human Right, who were all certified at the end of the session.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Director General of West African Insurance Institute (WAII), Dr. Prince Mike Ikupolati stated that the training was organised to create a creative link with the customers and the public as well.
He disclosed that there are many training programmes in the offing, while commending all those who have contributed in one way or the other to the success of the programme.
In delivering her vote of thanks, Mrs. Mary Edet called on stakeholders and industries to see the need for the training. As she put it “The Gambian business environment is changing and customers have more options.”
She noted that “in the banking system, we have a lot of service providers in the market and there is a need for not only getting them but also to retain them”.
