The 23-year-old defender has agreed personal terms with Lierse, as they wait on clearance from the Russian Football Federation. A statement posted on the club’s official website revealed that the transfer is not totally completed, as clearance would be needed from the Russion Football Federation, since Jammeh was reported to have resigned from Torpedo Moscow due to not having been paid for three months.
The former Steve Biko player was regular with the Russian club last season making 17 appearances before calling it quit in January 2009. The rocky defender also had a stint with Russian side FC Tekstilshchik-Telekom Ivanovo and Tunisian side ES Zarzis, where he started his professional career in 2005.
