Sports Administration Course Kicks-Off In Bayaka

A three-day sports administration training course for the sports administrators is currently underway in Bayaka Village in Kombo South in the Western Region of The Gambia.

The course which is being organised by Bayaka Youth and Sports Development Committee has brought together 12 participants from the village and its environs.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the President of Bayaka Youth and Sports Development Committee, Mr. Lamin Kolley, said the aim of the course is to equip participants with skills and techniques in modern sports administration.

He urged the participants to take the course seriously and make the best use of the knowledge gained from it.

He revealed that they would continue to stage this kind of course in the near future and expressed optimism that the training course would greatly help sports administrators in organising sports in their respective areas.

For his part, Buba Sanneh, a participant applauded Bayaka Youth and Sports Development Committee for organising the training course, adding that it would go a long way towards improving their skills in organising and administrating sports in their respective areas.

He assured the organisers that they would make the best use of the knowledge gained from the programme.
