Red House Wins Inter- house in Abuko-Upper

As preparations intensify for the annual inter schools athletics competition, Abuko Upper Basic held their inter house championship last Friday at the school grounds.

The championship was organised to scout athletes for the forth coming inter schools athletics championship and the event showcased spectacular performance by athletes from the six houses that competed in the competition.

At the end of the events Red House emerged as the champions with 386 points and they were awarded with giant trophy. Green House came second with 340 points, White House third with 298 points, Yellow House fourth with 210 points, Blue House came fifth with 157 points and Brown House came sixth with 137 points.

Speaking to Pointsports, the house master of Red House, Mr. Samo Badjie, said that before the inter house he was optimistic that his house with would be crowned champions of event this year.

He expressed delight at the performance of his athletes during the championship and he revealed that his house deserved to clinch the trophy.
