Allow me space to add my voice to this topic. I think we in the diaspora should be the ones who should try and encourage our young ones not to be nervous over there; we should be encouraging them with whatever small job they may be doing; we should teach them how to be independent, but not to be over dependent because when they are independent they can do something for themselves before thinking of crossing this deadly ocean.
I one time entered a second hand shop to buy something, and there I found the boys sitting with some girls. They didn’t even mind me until I had to approach them and inquired about the prices. At the end I decided to advise them, because it appeared to me that they do not have any idea as to how whoever is sending money from over there in Europe is suffering to ensure their sustenance. So I think we over here have a big role to play in fighting this back way menace.
