Norwegian Students Visit The Point

A ten member delegation from the OsloUniversity in Norway yesterday led by their professor visited The Point Newspaper offices located at Garba Jahumpa Road Bakau Newtown.

Upon their arrival at the paper the students were led on a conducted tour of various departments at The Point by Abba A.S Gibba and Nfamara Jawneh assistant news editor and sub editor of The Point respectively.

The two point editors welcomed the guests to the company and thanked them for the visit.

According to Professor Jobech Karlsem, the head of the team, the purpose of their visit is to expose his students. He said that they have been reading The Point back home in Norway and found the paper very interesting and decided that when ever they visited The Gambia they would also visit The Point.
