NIA Gets New Director General

Numo Kujabi, according to confirmed reports, has been appointed as the new Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, effective August 10th 2009.

Prior to his new appointment, he was the Deputy Officer Commanding Police Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) in Banjul.

Numo, who hails from Kalimu village in Foni Bondali district, replaces Modou Lamin Badjie, who took over from Benedict Jammeh.
