Ndemban Islamic School assisted

Foundation Humanitarian Aid The Gambia (FHAG), a registered charitable organisation, last Tuesday donated twenty-six bags of cement, valued at D6,500.00 to Ansaru Islamic School in Ndemban Jola, Foni Brefet, at a ceremony held in the  village.
 
The items are meant for the completion and concreting of the floor of three classroom blocks and veranda. The donation was made through the Brikama Area Council chairman, Sunkaru Badjie, who is also the councilor of the area, in fulfillment of his obligation as an elected councilor. This donation also follows an earlier donation of thirty-eight chairs to the school.

Handing over the bags of  cement to the school, BAC Chairman Badjie, who is also a Board Member of Foundation Humanitarian Aid The Gambia, urged the Ndemban Village Development Committee and the school authorities to make good use of the donated bags of cement. Receiving the items, Nfamara Colley, Ndemban Village Development Committee chairman, commended Foundation Humanitarian Aid The Gambia.

 He also thanked the BAC chairman for his efforts in making the donation possible. He described the donation as timely and relevant, hence it facilitate the creation of a conducive and productive learning environment. Sheriffo Jarju, headmaster of the school also expressed similar sentiments.
