Man in Court for Being Armed in Public

One Babucarr Touray was recently arraigned before Magistrate Abdoulie Mbackeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on a charge of armed in public.

He denied the charge.

The prosecuting officer Corporal 335 Nying therefore applied to the court to adjourn the case to enable her to come up with her witnesses.

Senior Magistrate Mbacked granted the application and adjourned the case until 3rd December 2008 and granted the accused person bail in the sum of D10,000 with a Gambian surety with a landed property whose title deed should be deposited with the court.
