Principal Magistrate Emmanuel Amadi of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court recently presided over a case of wilful damage to property brought against one Mutarr Hydara. He denied the charge.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused Mutarr Hydara on 11th September 2009, at Sanyang Village Kombo South, Western Region uprooted a groundnut farm, valued at D40,000 (forty thousand Dalasi), being the property of one Alhagie Malick Bajan.
Meanwhile, the accused was granted court bail in the sum of D40, 000.00, with one Gambian surety who must deposit his ID Card, passport photographs and must also swear to an affidavit of means.
The case was adjourned to 20th October 2009.
