Luzan Drew 2-2 with Pencha

Two of many of the toughest teams in the Nawettan, Pencha and Luzan had shown their worth by defending their leads to a 2-2 draw on Sunday, at the Serrekunda Mini Stadium.

At first, Luzan supporters were dumbstruck when Pencha’s Boys number 9, Abdou Jobe tapped home the 6th minute goal, and thereafter followed his teammate, Ali Sowe the number 11 who scored the 11th minute goal.

Before the first half ended, the spectators thought that Luzan was going to loose face to Pencha, but that was before Luzan’s very own number 22 Fabakary Sambou astonished the spectators by swiftly scoring the 20th minute goal and the 30th minute goal, respectively, all in the first half.

Then came the 2nd half when Pencha had many chances to score goals, but couldn’t.

The second half was a hard battle between the two teams, but the game eventually ended in a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, week three matches commences today.
