Line Bii Claim Latrikunda Junior Trophy

Line Bii FC last Saturday emerged champions of 2006 junior tournament, organised by one Ousman Conteh at the Latrikunda Lower Basic School football field.

Line Bii were crowned champions after beating Stockholm FC one goal to nil in a well-contended final.

The first 45th Minutes of the game was marked with skilful display of talents.

Line Bii dominated the first half but failed to score. The first half ended goaless

At the resumption of the second half, Line Bii FC continued to put pressure on to their opponents. Then in the 90th Minute Sang Mendy netted the winning goal for Line Bii.

At the end of the game, Line Bii received a giant trophy with a cash prize of D1,200.00 while Stockholm FC went away with a consolation prize of D700.00.

Speaking to Point Sports, Ousman Conteh the organiser of the Youth Tournament, said the tournament aimed to create unity among young people and give them the opportunity to showcase their talents.
