Leadership skills training for NAMs held

A one-day leadership training for National Assembly members was yesterday convened at the Seaview Hotel in Senegambia.

The training was organised by Youth For Christ (YFC) in The Gambia. In her opening remarks,  the board chairperson of YFC, Adel Frazer said the organisation is a missionary movement entrusted with a global vision commited to youths evangelism, social involvement and leadership development, among other things. She said YFC is engaged in various activities in The Gambia geared towards youth empowerment and development.

Adel Frazer pointed out that YFC is passionate about leadership development and that the key to transform The Gambia lies in the understanding and application of fundamental leadership principles. Abdoulie Bojang, the deputy speaker of the National Assembly, thanked the organisers for recognising the National Assembly as partner in this noble crusade. He said the training will go a long way in equiping the members in leadership skills. Sylvester Jammeh, national director, Youths For Christ also attended the ceremony.
