Lawyer Jorbateh appears in black bull case

Lamin Jobarteh, the counsel for the third and fourth accused persons in the ongoing black bull case involving six people, yesterday appeared at the Brikama Magistrate Court, before Principal Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh.

The third and fourth accused persons are Momodou Bah and Ansu Jarjue  are standing for giving false informations to a police. During yesterday’s sitting, Lawyer Jorbateh cross  examined the first witness, Seedy Dem, based on the testimony he gave in court in the last sitting.

He asked Seedy Dem whether during the process of sacrificing the black bull four year ago, he has any course to discuss anything with the third and fourth accused persons. Seedy Dem responded in the negative. He further asked if the duo participated in eating the meat of the bull, he said ‘no’. At that  juncture, the case was adjourned to February 24.
