Lamin Saraba Ceesay is Kudang Ward Councillor

Lamin Saraba Ceesay has been declared as the Councillor for Kudang Ward in the Janjagbureh Area Council, Central River Region.

Mr. Ceesay fills the seat that became vacant after the death of the previous councillor, Maku Ceesay.

According to a press release from the Independent Electoral Commission Mr. Ceesay got elected unopposed through the APRC party.

Nomination of candidates was held on Thursday 30th April 2009. Campaign was scheduled to start on Monday 4 May and end on Tuesday 12 May 2009. The by-election was slated for Thursday 14th May 2009.
