Jammeh To Ferry 350 Fans To Nigeria

The Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Dr Alhaji Yahya AJJ Jammeh who is no doubt the number one sports fan in the country has once again demonstrated his love for football which he described as the most lucrative sport worldwide.

The Gambian leader who recently gave an amount of D29 million to The Gambia national U-17, following their historic performance in the Africa U-17 championship in Algeria has once again provided a package amounting to 350 fans that will travel with the team to Nigeria.

Conscious of the fact that without the fans  it will be very difficult for the players to perform  as expected, the Gambian leader,  according to  Seedy MB Kinteh, GFA’s President  has provided a package of 350, who are expected  to travel to Nigeria  inorder to give support to the team which will  also include journalists  from various  media houses.

“The GFA is now working on the Presidential package of 350 fans that will travel to Nigeria,” he noted.

Seedy further expressed appreciation for the services of the Gambian leader towards the development of sports in the country, particularly football.

The GFA President is with the optimism   that the team would live up to expectations in Nigeria.
