Gambia Senior Secondary Crowned Nitelife Champions

GambiaSeniorSecondary School were last Friday crowned champions of the annual Nitelife International Tournament at KG5 Football Field.

They defeated CrabIsland by Seven goals to nil.

At the end of the tournament GambiaSeniorSecondary School received a cash prize of D5,000 and a trophy while the runners up CrabIsland received a cash prize of D3,000.

Veronic Malack won both the leading goal scorer and best player prizes, she received a cash prize of D500 for each of the awards.

The coordinator of the tournament coach, Kebba Njie, commended all eight participating schools noting that the whole idea of the competition is to promote female football in schools.
