According to the particulars of the offense, Ousman Jallow and Alpha Jallow were found in possession of 1,000 US dollar fake notes in Churchill’s Town (KMC) on 17 November 2008.
Count two indicates that on the same day, place and time, Ousman Jallow and Alpha Omar Jallow were found in possession of blackened papers, two knives and a pair of scissors for the purpose of forgery.
When the charge sheet was read to them, they both pleaded not guilty to both counts.Magistrate Abdoulie Mbackeh then granted them bail in the sum D10,000 each or the provision of a Gambian surety with a landed property of that value.
The title deeds of the said properties should be deposited with the court assistant registrar. The case is scheduled for hearing on January 6, 2008.
