Dodou Janneh, who was sentenced to death by the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, is appealing against the sentence at the High Court in Banjul before Justice Moses Richard.

The appellant, Dodou Janneh, was sentenced to death for murdering one Sheriff Minteh at Serekunda London corner some time in the month of May 2007.

Justice Moses Richard told the court that the record of proceedings from the lower court was not available and therefore ordered the Bundung Magistrates’ Court to make the record of proceedings available before the court, typed or hand written.
