The Village Saving and Credit Association Bank (VISACA) in Dasilameh, has dragged 7 of its clients to court for failing to pay their debt amounting to D26, 85, on time.
The seven people are Cherno Touray, Issac Mendy, Dawda Junkung, Ousman MK Jatta, Suntung Sambou, Ramou Sowe and Sainabou Sarr. When the case was mentioned last Wednesday before Principal Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of Brikama Magistrate court, none of the defendants was in court and the magistrate adjourned the case to allow the defendants to appear.
Magistrate Jammeh then warned that if they fail to appear in the next adjournment date, he will enter judgment in favour of the Bank.
