Bundung Borehole Noran Tournament Kicks

Youths of Bundung borehole of Sere-kunda Central commenced the 2009 Noran Tournament named after Mr. Momodou Jallow of Bundung Borehole Ward.

Speaking to Pointsport, a member of the organizing committee of the tournament, Mr. Amadou Kinteh, informed this reporter that seventeen teams registered for the competition and will be fully taking part in the Noran tournament.

He added that the tournament aims to foster understanding and co-operation between the youths of Bundung Borehole and Sere kunda Central in general.

He justified naming the tournament after Mr. Jallow as he described Mr. Jallow as an idol for the youths and also as a concerned person whose main focus is to see the youths of Bundung Borehole United in achieving their goals.

He further elucidated that prizes for the winners of the tournament are yet to be decided by his committee and he informed Pointsport that the tournament is in its second round. The tournament currently is played at the Bundung Lower Basic School Football Field Ground.
