Bravo, Daily Observer!

Editor,

Please, allow me space in your widely read newspaper to say hello to all my family members and friends in The Gambia, through your good newspaper.

Let me also take this opportunity to thank the Daily Observer for the wonderful job that you are doing in  our motherland. You are doing very well. It is always a pleasure to log on to the Daily Observer, every day, because I get news from my home.

Reading news about The Gambia always makes us happy and proud. I am particularly pleased with one of your articles written by one of your reporters called Kojo. This is a fantastic writer! It is always a joy to read something from him and I always look forward to it. His articles on some venues in the country are wonderful.

Where I live here in Massachusetts, there are very few Gambians around. Many of my neighbours do not know about my country. I was very happy to print some of his (Kojo’s) articles about Jojo's and Milly's with all the pictures and show them to my colleagues at work, and some of my neighbours. They were very pleased and happy about the writing style and the information.

Some even wanted to come to The Gambia because of this. I hope that soon I will be coming home on holiday, maybe with some of them.

I was so proud to tell them about my country and I am happy that you are giving me the information to do so because some people here don't even know where Gambia is or whether it exists. Please keep up the good work. I am very proud.
