As part of efforts geared towards boosting the transport, logistics and other related services in The Gambia and beyond as well as promoting infrastructrure within Africa and other parts of the world, a new transport company called Bollore Africa Logistics is set to launch in the country.
The company aimed among other things, to meet the ever-changing demands in the world of transport and other related logistical problems in The Gambia, Africa and the world at large. According to a press release from Gambia Shipping Agencies Ltd (GSA) signed by Thomas Nielsen, general manager, the new transport and logistic company once operational, the country stands to benefit a lot from it, especially in the area of transport and logistic network, coupled with the most up-to-date fine and excellent service conditions.
The new company according to the release, will also promote trade exchange and free flow of people, goods and services within Africa and the world at large "Transport and other related logistic problems still continues to face Africa and Bollore Africa Logistics is out to render support to that effect. The company is committed towards the development of the country economically and its infrastructure. We are strengthening our operations in many countries such as South Africa, East Africa, China, USA, Dubai, Maghreb, Middle East, among others. The company is also expanding its business in oil, gas, mining and telecommunication”, said Vincent Bollore.
The release added that through Ballore Africa Logistics, people will benefit from logistics network, which offers the finest and most integrated inter-connection to improve the flow and the density of trade exchanges. Ballore Africa Logistics is also a reference network for the management and the development of port infrastructure and corridors as well as a logistics operator involved in major projects.
