Banjul North Win July 22nd Cricket Championship

The Banjul Northern Cricket outfit have been crowned winner of the Gambia Cricket Association four-team July 22nd Cricket Championship.

Banjul North won fellow Banjulians from Central with 42 runs and 6 wickets. 

Banjul North batted first with 151 runs 6 wicket in 20 overs. Seedy Kuyateh had 4 overs 2 wickets for 29 runs.

In the second inning, Banjul Central batted next and scored 109 runs all out in 20 overs.

KMC and Banjul South also took part in the championship and were eliminated in the first stages.
