Assistance for Nyodema Nursery

Nyodema Nursery School last Tuesday received a donation of school materials worth thousands of Euros, thanks to VZW Gambiavriendem, a charitable organisation based in Belgium, at a colourful presentation ceremony held at the school grounds in Manjai Kunda.

The donated items include lap tops, laminating machines, books, bags, television, fax machine and telephone set amongst others. 

Speaking at the occasion, the headmistress of the school, Mariama Secka-Darboe revealed that her school was established in 1987 with very little support. The school has been supported by

Gambiavriendem since 2002, and this is the organisation’s sixth presentation to the school.
