Assan Njie thrills fans at Jokor Night Club....As he wraps up a three-day fund raising show

Assan Njie, the Senegalese Mbalax superstar, last Sunday night, thrilled his fans at the Jokor - Night- club, as part of a fund raising event organised by the Gambia Armed Forces (GAF), ahead of their football trip to Kampala, Uganda, some time next year.

The Senegalese Mbalax star and the Ngeweul Gi  Band gave a thrilling performance to the crowd, with his latest album, entitled: “Bour Yalla”, captivating the crowd; the dance lasted up to the early hours of Monday morning.

The show also witnessed the performance of various Gambian artists such as; Yusupha Ngum, alias Joloff Man; the Twin Sisters; Pa Omar Jack; Melody M; Black Acoustic; Da Public Demand; among others.

Lamarana Jallow of Unique FM Radio Station, was the Master of the ceremony (MC), and he wouldn’t be left behind in the entertainment spree of the audience.

Lt Col. Ousman Badjie of the Gambia National Guards, on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Major General Lang Tombong Tamba, welcomed the crowd to the spectacular musical dance, thanking the sponsors of the programme, including all those who supported them in one way or the other.

Lt Col Badjie also commended all the media institutions for the publicity. He also had a lot of praises for the artist of the day,  Assan Njie and the Ngeweul Gi Band, as well as his fans club.
