ASP Testifies in Court

ASP Buba Jasseh recently testified at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court in the trial of One Sarjo Camara who is alleged to have stolen a motor bike belonging to the Complainant.

In his testimony, ASP Jasseh told the court that on 4th January 2009, at Brikama police station, the complainant lodged a complaint that his motor bike that was stolen was once sighted by one Mr Congira. He said upon their arrival at Mr Congira’s house they then went to the accused’s house where they found the motor bike which the complainant identified as his. He said,there, both the two were arrested and taken to Brikama police station.

ASP Jasseh further told the court that after three days both suspects where charged and later detained, adding the accused Sarjo Camara confessed to the police that he was the one who stole the motor bike and there the other suspects were released. He went on to say that the accused person also confessed of stealing a carpet by removing it from where it was hanging on the fence.
