The 33rd Jalsa Salana of the Ahamadiyya Muslim Jama’at The Gambia recently ended at the NusratSeniorSecondary School in Bundung.

In his closing remarks, the Amir of the Ahamadiyaa Muslim Jamat’at, The Gambia Baba F Trawally reminded the gathering of the blessed and perfect teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (saw) on all aspects of life. Amir Trawally stressed on the importance for putting into practice these beautiful teachings. “We must all remember that Islam is not a religion based on any human intelligence, it is brought to us by the Holy Prophet of Islam from Allah, the Almighty,” he stated. He said Prophet Muhammad (Saw) did not practise or say anything of his own desire, but it was all pure revelation from Allah, the Almighty. “He therefore is the perfect exemplar for the mankind,” Amir Trawally stated.

“If the world had followed his sayings and practice, it would have been protected from all its ills, including the current global economic crises,” he added.

Amir Trawally said every Ahamdi, wherever he lives, “must realise his duties as a guardian of the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (saw)”.

“Never associate with anything that contravenes his Sunnah, do your utmost to practise to the latter anything he said and practised,” he stressed. He said the Holy Qur’an has told us “that those who seek salvation must know that the only path to it is to take the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (saw) who upholds the Sunnah”.

Amir Trawally acknowledged the sacrifices of everyone to the success of the Jalsa Salana.
