Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamm’at concludes Jalsa Salana

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamm’at recently concluded its 42nd Jalsa Salana (annual convention) in the United Kingdom.  

The Jalsa Salana was part of activities marking the end of the first century of the Ahmadiyyza caliphate.  The convention which was attended by a delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamm’at in The Gambia was led by Amir Baba F Trawally.

In his opening address, the supreme leader of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamm’at, Hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V, reminded the members about the favours that Almighty Allah has bestowed on Islam.  

He said that Hadrat, Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi (AS) has come to defend the honour and dignity of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad Mustapha (SAW) noting that that is why throughout his life, Allah Almighty showed spectacles of divine support in the defense of Hadrat Muhammed Mustafa (SAW).

The Ahmadiyyan leader concluded his speech by giving a report of the achievements and activities of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamm’at which include mosque construction, mission houses, hospitals, schools and most important of all, the publication of the Holy Quran and other Islamic literature, among others.

He emphasised the importance of prayers noting that nothing can be attained without prayers.  He called on all members to be completely obedient to the Holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW) in order to have the love and pleasure of Almighty Allah.
The convention was also attended by many foreign dignitaries from different countries representing countries and organisations.  Thousands of delegates attended the convention.
