Armitage Boarding Fee Increased

Tuesday, September 2, 2008

The Board of Governors of Armitage Senior Secondary School in Janjanbureh, Central River Region, has given approval for the boarding fee to be increased with effect from September 2008.

According to Ebrima Joof, Principal Armitage Senior Secondary School, the morning shift-boarding fee has been increased from D300 to D500 per term.

He noted that the school fee of D200 remains the same. He explained that the reason for this increment is due to continuous increase in the cost of living, adding that it is from the boarding fees that the students receive three square meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner). He maintained that teachers are paid from the subvention the school receives from government.
