Gamtel/Gamcel sets records straight

The management of Gamtel and Gamcel has denied reports suggesting an apparent breakaway between the national telecommunication giant and Spectrum Group, which holds 50 per cent of shares.

Below is the full text of the press release:

We would like to inform the public in reference to the article mentioned in The Point [newspaper] on Monday and Tuesday that the information stated in it is completely misleading to the public. And as far as the Gamtel and Gamcel Management is concerned, business is as usual.

We will shortly address the public with all the new projects and activities that will bring additional values to our precious customers.
