Motor engine lands man in trouble

One Abdul Karim John was recently arraigned before Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates Court on charges of stealing, contrary to the Laws of The Gambia.

According to the particulars of the offence, the accused, on August 3rd at Serrekunda, stole two motor engine blocks valued at D8,000, being the properties of one Babucarr Jallow.

Mr John pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him.
At that juncture, Magistrate Mbake then adjourned the case to August 15 for hearing to commence.
