Alleged NTC Burglars Charged

Confirmed sources have informed this paper that the men arrested in connection with burglary into an NTC facility have been charged and are expected to appear in court soon.

The principal suspect, Ousman Jarra, is reported to be at large while his co-suspect, Bangali Conteh, who is said to have planned the operation, was arrested.

The other suspects are Lasana Krubally, Tunka Sanneh and Momodou Kujabi, the reportedly compliant watchmen, and Assan Jobe, the taxi driver, all of whom have been arrested.

The men were alleged to have stolen 81 packets of mixed items and two bales of cloth at Sona Trex Stores at NTC complex in Banjul. The items, valued at D125,000.00, are said to be owned by one Muhammed, a Lebanese businessman.
