Brikama Methodist Acadamy Holds Graduation

The Brikama Methodist Academy recently held a graduation ceremony for their outgoing Grade nines and 12’s. The guest speaker at the ceremony was barrister Bola Carol advised the students to be disciplined and committed in whatever they do. He reminded them that their actions reflect on their alma mater.

The former teacher continued by urging students to be careful when making decisions. He said nothing works well without careful choices and that determination courage and hard work are the backbone of discipline.

Speaking earlier, the principal of the school, Mr. Morlai Camara, expressed his pride in seeing the students going out into the wider world ready to serve their communities and the world at large.

According to Principal Camara, the school has a good record in terms of academic performance. He said in 2006/2007, out of a total of 95 students, 65% gained aggregates between 11 and 40. At senior level, out of a total of 72 students, 70% gained between one and seven credits and passes.

Principal Camara finally thanked the PTA for their support and encouragement.
