The board is chaired by Dr Seth Owusu Agyei director of kintampo Health Research Centre and assisted by Mr. Tomas Mario other members included Prof Issac Nyamongo, University of Nairobi, Lucy and Mrs Charity Binka executive secretary of AMMREN. During the meeting the five-year strategic plan of the network was also reviewed by members. It also gave the opportunity to the ten AMMREN Country co-ordinators to present their country reports.
In another development the network last Tuesday launched the first edition of its magazine (EYES ON Malaria).
Speaking shortly after the launch and the inauguration Dr Agyei thanked members for electing them to serve in the board and assured them of the board support towards the enhancement of AMMREN
For her part, the executive secretary of AMMREN Mrs Charity Binka commended members for their dedication towards the network and urged them to add more efforts in order to take AMMREN to another level.
