The Association of Business Executives (ABE), a UK based international qualification provider, last Thursday awarded certificates to 16 outstanding students. The ABE certificate covers various fields of study.
The 2007 batch of graduates came from different institutions in the Gambia, that include Jollof Tutor, Bips, Trust Communication and Nusrat Management and Accountancy Training Centre (NMATC) received their certificates during a presentation ceremony held at Kairaba Beach Hotel, Kololi.
Delivering his keynote address on behalf of ABE, Martin W. Buchley, a business education consultant, hailed the performance of the graduands. He urged them to always remember the day of their graduation with pride. .
According to him, ABE programmes are professional qualification that are benefiting international recognition. Consequently, he noted that the training opens a wide-ranging job opportunities to students who performed successfully.
He further stated that approximatly 8000 student are currently undergoing ABE programme in africa out of which 250 students are in the country. He added that in his organisation. He finally concluded by disclosing a scholarship package for the just 100 students to register on certificate and diploma level of their ABE programmes from the Gambia.
Ousman Jang of the National Training Authority (NTA) applauded the Bristish examination certificate provider (ABE) for the quality of their educational programme.
According to him, NTA is authorised by an act of partiment to monitor and supervise the activities of institution to mark sure that quality is delieved to propective students.
He finally take the opportunity to congrulated the awardee’s and their institution noting that we at the National Training Authority are on the quest for the pursue of excellence to international standard.
The awarding students include’s Ebrima Jaiteh, Madline Asheroft, Jerome James freeman, Saihou Dubois, Sallu Amara, Clara-Mary R. Senghore, Woody Minteh, Victor Chukwuubem, Mike Junior Kehinde, Yaya Sillah, Alberta Ceesay Fatoumata Sallah, Kawsu Sillah, Yankuba Gaye, Abdoulie Jobe.
