BARACK OBAMA FOR AFRICA

Monday, November 17, 2008

Still celebrating a strange but deserved victory as Luther’s dream is fulfilled, Mandela’s wish is accomplished, Bob Marley’s prophecy is fulfilled, Twopac’s desire is achieved and ALLAH’s command executed.

While reading the poem below, continue rejoicing because you have all the right to. Come January 20th the world will see not only the ability and agility of a Blackman, but the impact of the wisdom and courage of a long-term oppressed hero on a global stage.

Certainly, Mama Africa and her poor black children are very much proud of a great family member who despite all odds has survived the heat of a hostile environment to get to the top of the world by historically becoming the head of the most important and powerful body in the universe.

Even though Obama is far from being an African president, it is widely believed that his African linkage together with his  representation of the U.S Democratic political wing which over the years has been more considerate with Africa, are strong reasons why Obama is for Africa.

No matter what, Obama remains an African pride as the first African-American to occupy the Oval Office in that so called White House.

Consequently, the pending issue now is the need for complete collaboration and support from both the American people and the rest of the world in assisting Mr Obama to put into practice his brilliant ideas in bringing that positive change to the U.S and the entire world. Remember, when the U.S sneezes, the rest of the world catchesa  cold.
