Subpoena for Central Bank official

In the ongoing Charles Lawson fake currency case before Acting Principal Magistrate Kumba Sillah Camara of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, the police prosecutor, Inspector Saine, has applied for the subpoena of one Central Bank official.

Inspector Saine applied for thie subpoena in order for him to bring the official to testify in the case since the said bank official has not appeared despite several notifications from the prosecutor.

According to him, the said witness has vital evidence that will help the court in deciding the case.

Acting Principal Magistrate Kumba Sillah Camara granted his application.
It can be recalled that Charles Lawson was charged with the offence of being in possession of fake Dalasis and CFA currencies.
