Respect for the law is imperative

Thursday, November 13, 2008

I wish to emphasise here that the judicial system in any given political denomination is a vital component that helps to uphold and sustain law and order as subscribed and contained in the constitution.

It is the law that protects the society and people.  It ensures that the constitutional rights of all are respected.  Therefore without a prudent and responsive judicial system, no country can call itself a constitution democracy.  Respect for the law -the constitution for that matter - is imperative and it is also an indication of committed moral responsibility in terms of the ideals of nationalism.

Those responsible for the dispensation of justice therefore, must never allow our laws to be broken.  They will be doing a great service to the country and people if they make sure that our laws are respected.

The law is the spectrum of any model system for within the cortex of law, no objective is unattainable as the modus operandi will be based on truth and justice.
