Comium last Thursday gave multiform gifts to Abbie Jallow, who recently gave birth to triplets at the BAFROW Medical Centre in Serrekunda.
The gifts were various commodities for babies and an amount of D25, 000.
Ms Ya Saine Gaye, Comium’s Communication Officer, said at the handing over ceremony at the BAFROW Medical Centre that Comium is always aware of its social responsibilities, adding that it is not always about buying and selling but also giving.
She maintained that Comium is a company that all its customers are always pleased with, adding that it’s all about creating and sharing value with its stakeholders.
According to her, Comium has been associated with BAFROW for quite a while and over the period has sponsored some of those who have been admitted there for treatment. She revealed that Comium has so far sponsored three surgeries at BAFROW.
She said: “Even though Mrs. Jallow is not one of those patients sponsored by Comium, Comium always treats everyone the same. We do not discriminate. That is why it gives us a great pleasure to donate these gifts to the mother and newborn babies”.
Dr. H Azadeh, Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at BAFROW, hailed Comium and described the company as generous to BAFROW.
He explained that there are occasions that some people need operations, but they do not have the money.
For her part, Mrs. Abbie Jallow gave thanks to God and expressed gratitude to Comium for the gesture.
