Youth to Be Tried for Threatening to Kill Mother

Abdoulie Secka of Bakau was on Friday sentenced to serve a three-month jail term for causing willful damage to property and would undergo yet another trial over allegation of threatening to kill his mother.

Abdoulie appeared before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on Friday for damaging her mother’s door as well as allegedly threatening to take her life.

He denies the charge of threatening violence whilst he pleaded guilty to causing willful damage to property.

The case was presided over by magistrate Abdoulie Mbacke.
