Regional League Final September 12

The Gambia Football Association 2007 Regional League final will take place on Wednesday September 12, 2007 at the Brikama Ba Mini Stadium in Central River Division.  After months of intensive competition, Jarra West and Waterman booked their tickets to the final of the most watched Football championship in the provinces.

 However, Jarra West made it to the final after thrashing ADWEC of Kerewan 6-1 while Waterman of Basse eliminated Lower Niumi 3-2 in post match penalty kicks after a 2-2 draw in the game.

The most awaited final is expected to be a thriller as both teams met in the same stage last year in which the Water boys claiming the trophy.

The four semi finalists would represent the regions in next year’s Gamtel sponsored FA Cup.
