In Regional U-17 Selection Team Tournament

A Central River Region U-17 selection will take on Upper River Region tomorrow in Basse as part of The Gambia Football Association’s regional U-17 selection tournament, which is geared towards the formation of a new national U-17 team.

The regional tournament will feature twelve regions namely; North Bank Region, Lower River Region, Central River Region, Upper River Region, Banjul, Bakau, Serrekunda West, Serrekunda East, Sukuta, Gunjur, Lamin and Brikama.

North Bank Region will clash with Lower River Region on Sunday in Farafenni.

According to Seedy MB Kinteh, President of The Gambia Football Association, FA officials will be on the ground to oversee the selection process.

He added that the selection process for teams in the Greater Banjul area will take place after Tobaski.
