NiteLife Country Rep Arrives in Gambia

The Manager of the NiteLife African International Organization, a Swedish charity, has arrived in the Gambia last week to take up her new appointment as the Country Representative for the Organisation.

Mrs. Jilly Jonasson who is here for a  one-year tour- of -duty  is expected to over see the implementation of the  projects of  her Organisation as well as to look into other areas of cooperation with the Gambian people .

Speaking to this reporter yesterday, Mrs Jonasson said that she is poised to do her utmost to take NiteLife to another level. She revealed that she would be working on a number of projects including the female sports project in Banjul and an orphan’s care project in Upper River Region. She added that she is also committed to forge links with cultural troops in the country with a view to promoting cultural exchange.

According to Mrs. Jonasson, her organization is out to contribute towards the socio-economic and cultural growth of Africa. “The Gambia is the first country on the continent to host the Organization’s special representative and also the first country to get these projects,” she posited.

Mrs Jonasson therefore went on to appeal to the Gambian public to give her the necessary support to make her mission in the country fruitful   and memorable.

Meanwhile, NiteLife African International Organization is a registered non-religious and non-political organization based in Sweden. It involves in music and cultural education for people of all ages. The Organisation is also changing lives by providing employment opportunities to young people in Sweden and beyond.
